I'm pleased to report a successful Carnival again this year hear are some photos from the duck race and the carnival all are welcome to come to our AGM on Monday 14th November at 8.15 in Par Scout Hall Moorland Rd New members are always welcome or just a few ideas

This years Carnival will be held on

Saturday 16th July Judging from 5.30pm procession starts at 6.30pm

During the week up to the carnival on Saturday 9th July Charity Bazaar 11.am-3pm at the Gott Hall with Crowing of Queens at 2.30pm
Fun Auction at The Welcome Home time to be Confirmed
Thursday 14th July Carnival Prize Bingo at The Gott Hall eyes down at 7.30pm
Friday 15th July Children's Sports at St Blazey Cricket Club 6.00pm
Sunday 17th July Family Bike Ride on the Haul Road to be confirmed
and Round it up Songs of Praise at St Marys Methodist Church 6.00 pm

Well it's all over for another year
Thanks to everyone who attended the Carnival day and hope you all enjoyed it
Sorry there wasn't any brass bands but we where badly let down, one cancelled midweek and the other on the day giving us no time to get any replacements.
The weather tried to beat us but thanks to the support of local people we where determined to keep going and as it turned out we only got slightly damp.
If anybody has photo's the wish to share with us please send them to the website email address.
More information on what we raised and where it is going to follow shortly.

Par Carnival 2009

A lot of things have changed since last year,due to the increase in insurance cover and other rising costs we will probably have a smaller amount of events this year.
The committee are working very hard at the moment to still put on a week full of events.
The main event, Carnival and fete day is on the 18th of July and will be packed with lots of things to do for all ages.
Watch this blog in the next few weeks as we confirm a lot of events for 2009.
