Par Carnival 2009

Well it's all over for another year
Thanks to everyone who attended the Carnival day and hope you all enjoyed it
Sorry there wasn't any brass bands but we where badly let down, one cancelled midweek and the other on the day giving us no time to get any replacements.
The weather tried to beat us but thanks to the support of local people we where determined to keep going and as it turned out we only got slightly damp.

Par Carnival 2009

A lot of things have changed since last year,due to the increase in insurance cover and other rising costs we will probably have a smaller amount of events this year.
The committee are working very hard at the moment to still put on a week full of events.
The main event, Carnival and fete day is on the 18th of July and will be packed with lots of things to do for all ages.
Watch this blog in the next few weeks as we confirm a lot of events for 2009.
